About Hero

Meet Hero! This wonderful German Shepherd is looking for a loving home. As a male dog in the 7+ years age range, Hero has so much love and companionship to share.

This dog is on our Call to Action list due to challenging behaviors when impounding such as thrashing, rolling, and repeated attempts to bite an Animal Control Officer. We are evaluating whether or not this dog is able to be safely handled. Update 3/11: This dog has shown great improvement since his intial impound.
